Pet Policy

It is our pleasure to welcome your pet to our Pet Friendly Calgary hotel. We have designated 1st and 2nd floor rooms in the hotel for pets. Please inform the hotel that you are bringing your pet when making your reservations.

To ensure a comfortable stay for yourself and your fellow guests, we would appreciate it if you would please observe the following guidelines:

• A pet fee of $20.00 per stay will be charged in addition to your room rate.
• There will be a fee imposed at hotel's discretion to aid in cleaning cost.
• Your pet must be kept on a leash when it is in the hotel or on hotel property, unless it is in your room.
• We regret that pets are not allowed in any food and beverage outlets, or the pool area of the hotel. This exclusion does not apply to guide dogs.
• You are responsible for cleaning up after your pet on hotel property as well as in and around Calgary.
• Any disturbances, such as barking, should be curtailed to ensure that other guests are not inconvenienced.
• Please contact the Housekeeping Department to arrange for a convenient time for servicing your room. No attempt will be made to enter if there is a pet in the room, unless the owner is present. The pet owner should be in the room when it is cleaned if the pet is present.
• You agree to be responsible for all property damages and/or personal injuries resulting from your pet. You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the hotel; it’s owners and operators, from all liability and damage suffered as a result of your pet.

This property has been independently certified by Pets Can Stay as meeting or exceeding all criteria required for the Standard Certification designation. • Acceptable Accommodation and Non-Smoking Options - Not withstanding federal, state/provincial and local health regulations and other related codes, guests and/or their pets are not designated to any substandard accommodation or facility in the establishment (e.g. requiring the pet to stay in a garage, storage room, outdoors, in the owner's vehicle, etc.). The establishment has smoking and non-smoking pet-designated units available (unless it is a fully non-smoking establishment). All pet-designated rooms are kept in good, clean condition and are devoid of unpleasant odors (e.g. heavy smoke).
• Fair Kenneling Policies - The establishment does not enforce kenneling of pets at all times during the stay (i.e. even when in the guest room with their owners in attendance). Pets are allowed outside of their kennel once in room while in the presence of their owners.
• Safe Environment - Pet-designated common areas and pet designated rooms within the establishment are free of objects or substances that present a danger to pets (e.g. easily accessible chocolate, nuts, cleaners, etc.).
• Pet Policies Available Upon Request - The establishment can provide clearly written documentation, upon request, outlining all of its pet-related policies that are in effect (e.g. leash policy, pet in room policy, etc.).
• Local Pet Service Provider Information Available - The establishment can, upon request, provide guests with contact information for local pet service providers (e.g. pet daycare/ pet sitters, pet supply retailers, groomers, veterinary/emergency etc.).
• Food/Water Bowls - The establishment can, upon request, provide a drinking/food receptacle (e.g. dish, bowl, bucket, etc) to pet guests.
• Licensed Accommodation Provider - The establishment is licensed and accredited, in the region in which it operates, to provide travel accommodations.
